Hooversuck of an Empty Space
plus a couple chapters of Frantic Showstoppers are available to read!
An egg appears in Pyre’s hotel shower, and after he’s gotten help from his friendly rival Shanks, it hatches to reveal a baby Ancient Evil both cuddly and horrible. For better or worse they have to protect and nurture it so it stops eating people as a stress response. They go to Outer Space on this quest, but not everyone is looking to help the new family unit, and some would like to use the Ancient Evil for their own means.
Previously serialized on kindle vella from May 16th to August 5th 2022, Hooversuck of an Empty Space is now available in full on Amazon and Kindle Unlimited!
This is an lgbt space opera ensemble adventure, and the first book in the SHIT HAPPENS IN SPACE series. Buy for $3.99 now, or read at no cost if you’re a KU Subscriber.
My current priority project since June of 2022 has been Frantic Showstoppers, a horror fantasy murder mixemup that is very gay and features a red string of fate, folklore demons, a capitalistic hegemony of billionaire scions who are messing everything up, and a sadsack MC. As a way to try and share I’ve been uploading chapters publicly through my patreon and hosted directly on my website, which I am likely to continue to do until Part One is finished at least.
If you’d like to read 11k (so far) of free fiction, the first chapter is found here, and a link to the second chapter is at the bottom of the page. To get emails when new chapters are posted, you can do one of two things: subscribe to my patreon, which will net you WIP words in addition to the public updates, or you can follow the patreon without subscribing which will still net you an email when I post publicly.
Before I sign off here, a little housekeeping note: given the current whirlwind of chaos twitter has become I’ve revived my tumblr to use as a general blogging and sharing platform. If you’re on that site, come say hello! I’m mostly using it to reblog shitposts and post my daily wordcount for accountability purposes, but it might get more interesting soon.
Maybe.
Well, it’s possible, anyway.
Okay, that’s all I got. See y’all next time!
